At 626, we proudly support Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, a nonprofit that reminds deployed service members that people back home care. First, this volunteer day marked our fourth event with their team, and it brought our group together with purpose. You can also learn more about our community mission on our 626 Gives page.
Next, our volunteers gathered to pack care boxes for soldiers serving overseas. We filled each box with Girl Scout cookies, snacks, personal care items, and handwritten notes. These items not only offer comfort but also lift spirits for those far from home.
In addition, the project gave our team a chance to connect and reflect. We talked about the impact that small acts of kindness can create. Moreover, events like this align with our values and strengthen the purpose behind the work we do every day. If you want to see more stories like this, you can explore our News + Events page.
Then, as we wrapped up, we discussed future volunteer opportunities and ways we can expand our outreach. Our team left feeling energized and inspired to continue giving back. These moments remind us why service matters and why we remain committed to supporting organizations that uplift others.
Finally, we look forward to our next volunteer day with Forgotten Soldiers Outreach and plan to continue supporting their mission. You can learn more about who we are and what drives us on our Why 626 page.
