At 626, we love supporting our employees both inside and outside the workplace—especially when they are making a difference in their communities. This year, we were proud to make a charitable donation in support of Jenn Nagy and her friends as they participated in the annual Polar Bear Plunge, benefiting Special Olympics New Jersey.
The Polar Bear Plunge is a beloved tradition that brings together thousands of participants who brave the icy Atlantic Ocean to raise funds and awareness for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Through sports, inclusion, and community support, Special Olympics New Jersey empowers individuals to build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their goals.
Jenn, who completed her fourth Polar Bear Plunge this year, was joined by friends who have also made this event an annual tradition. Together with approximately 6,800–7,000 other participants, they took on the challenge of running into 36-degree ocean waters—all in support of an incredible cause.
Thanks to the dedication of participants, donors, and supporters, this year’s event raised an impressive $2.3 million for Special Olympics New Jersey. We are honored to support both our employees and organizations that create meaningful opportunities for individuals and families in our communities.
We congratulate Jenn and everyone who took the plunge this year, and we look forward to continuing to support causes that inspire positive change.
